Whale Tail Tea Canister with an Inner Lid and a Woven Knob

This tea canister is crafted from locally sourced Walnut wood in Southern California.  I turned the box on my lathe, and the whale tail was hand-carved.  It features an inner lid made of Maple to keep tea leaves secure, complete with a woven loop knob.  Every detail makes this tea canister truly special.

The tea canister is finished with Walnut oil.
